Writing a guest post for a professional blogger is one thing which so many bloggers don’t find funny! One of those professional bloggers who I follow loyally is Ms. Ileane. I remember how big I dreamed submitting my first guest post to Ms. Ileane of BasicBlogTips.com(PR5)

Believe me, it’s really not a child’s play getting your guest post published on blogs like Ms Ileane’s blog. I made my first move last year when I was blogging on the Blogger free blog (blogspot) and discovered clearly how unprepared and unready I was then.

After a close study of her blog, I discovered  the guest authors are all WordPress users, this ordinarily made me understand how badly I needed to step up my game. Aside from wanting to write for Ms. Ileane, blogging on WordPress platform is one way of getting serious and successful in blogging. So I recommend you get yourself a self hosted WordPress blog and start serious blogging as I have done!

When I started Daily Tips Diary which is barely 2 months now, I challenged myself that before the blog turns 2 months old that I was going to get connected with at least 3 probloggers whom I have been dreaming to guest post for. One of them is a success already!

Wondering who the remaining 2 probloggers are? You know them already, but let me just tell you right away… they are Darren Rowse of ProBlogger.net (PR6), and John Chow of JohnChow.com (PR5). Believe me these 3 fellows are really professional bloggers and if you really want to get serious with blogging, you should work towards getting connected with them.

Like I said earlier, I have a target of writing and getting my articles published by these 3 blogging icons at least before my blog turns 2 months old and I am happy that 1 out 3 is a success. As you are reading this article, my first guest  post at Ms. Ileane’s blog – Basic Blog Tips has been published!

The title of the article is 6 Unconventional Tips For Writing An About Page For Your Blog. I was so glad when I saw the confirmation mail from Ms. Ileane this morning that my article has been published on her blog.

Just a note for Ms. Ileane…

Hello Ms. Ileane,

Your blog is really an inspiration to my blogging dreams…

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to land a guest post on your blog. For accepting me as an author on your blog, I promise I’ll always be the loyal reader, comment lover and sharing fellow of the great content you publish on Basic Blog Tips. Please don’t hesitate to call on me should you need any support from me.

I’m already working on my next guest post for you and promise it will continue to meet the standards which you have set at BasicBlogTips.

What Next?

I will be writing again on my success story with ProBlogger and JohnChow soon. In the post, I will be sharing with you the strategies I used to get these ProBloggers accept and publish my guest posts.

Watch out for my success story coming your way…
